Abstract
The VINI in silico model of cancer approaches cancer in the spirit of system biology, and is oriented towards analysis of metabolic pathways. It was tested with the data from KEGG database, which, along with Reactome is considered the most reliable source of experimentally confirmed metabolic reactions. The VINI model expresses near 92% in vitro and 80% in vivo accuracy in predicting the efficacy of cancer drugs. Because of the current situation with COVID-19 disease, its functionality was extended, and VINI is now able to predict the efficacy of drugs and chemical compounds in inhibiting the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein.
