Abstract
Selective determination of the fast neutron component in a mixed radiation field by the TL dosimetry was studied. TL responses due to the induced radioactivity in Al2O3:C dosimeters via the 27Al(n, gamma)24Na reaction were used to measure the neutron part in a mixed 14.5 MeV neutron and gamma irradiation field. The lowest detectable neutron dose was found to be in order of 10 mSv of personal dose equivalent for Al2O3:C.
