DisCERNing new physics in tt¯–production from top–spin observables.

Abstract
We examine the models of new physics which could potentially explain the significant deviation of the measured forward–backward asymmetry in tbar t production at the Tevatron from the SM prediction, by fitting the models to the all available tbar t production data. To be able further to discriminate among the NP models we calculate predictions for various top spin polarization and top–antitop spin correlation observables at Tevatron and the LHC.
